WEDNESDAY - JUNE 18, 1997 VIDOR - The funeral for Bobby Gene Block, 60, of Houston will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor with burial to follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be until 10 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He died Monday at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.
A native of Beaumont, he lived in Vidor before moving to Houston 25 years ago. He was a self-employed general contractor and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include one daughter, Mia Guajardo of Houston; five brothers, Milton Block, Melvin Block, Rodney Block, and Gary Block, all of Vidor, and Ronald Block of Beaumont; one sister, Dorothy Petrucci of Vidor; and three grandchildren
