KENTON - Lester M. Neal, 80, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Barrick, Route 3, Kenton, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday of a heart attack.
Born near Holden, Mr. Neal had resided with another daughter, Mrs. Mildred Myers, 320 E. Vine-st, Lima, for the last 2 1/2 years. He previously had lived in Holden and Waynesfield. His wife, Elizabeth, died in 1946.
Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Flossie Turner, Route 5, Kenton; and Mrs. Bessie Cummings, Route 1, Waynesfield; two sons, Robert E., Kenton and Darrell, Wolcottville, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Calvin, Belle Center.
The body will remain in Weygandt funeral home, Waynesfield, for services at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Roundhead cemetery.
