SERVICES HELD FOR RUFUS MARSHALL, 91
Funeral services for Rufus E Marshall, 91, longtime local resident, were held here Friday afternoon with relatives and friends in attendance.
The Rev Charles Strickler, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated. Burial was in South Park Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Harold Weston, Andrew Harrison, Russell Harwood, Howard Aldridge, Willard Jones and Louis Saler.

Note: 1st married Sallie Morrison on Feb. 22, 1905 in Fleming Co., KY and they had 2 sons: Lester and Omer. Sallie died Feb. 18, 1910 and Rufus 2nd married Rosa E. Fightmaster Feb. 26, 1918, who then helped rear the small boys.
