Tempe - Vernon E. Dille, 71, a retired switchman for a railroad, died July 26, 1985, at Desert Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Dille, of Tempe, was born in Winamac, Ind., and moved to Arizona 12 years ago from Indiana.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tempe.
Survivors include his wife, Anne; daughters, Carron Collins, Suzanne Luchene, Merle Akers and Rebecca Tracy; sons, Allen "Bud" E. and Robert J.; a sister and a brother; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
No services have been planned.
Memorial contributions may be ade to the American Cancer Society, 634 W. Indian School Road, Phoenix 85018.
