BAST, Nancy Went home to be with the Lord at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, on Friday, February 19, 2010. Nancy was born 90 years ago in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late David K. and Barbara (Jantzi) Roth. Beloved wife of the late Aaron Bast (1994). Loving mother of Murray and his wife Florence of Wellesley, Fern and her husband John Good of Baden and Helen Wilfing of Walkerton. Dear grandmother of Parry Bast (Alyssa Foulkes), Lindsay Bast (Becky Shaw), Caralee Good, Rachelle (Clyde Matava), Rosanne (Marty Robinson), Jeremy Wilfing and Christine Wilfing. Will be sadly missed by her brothers; Milton Roth, David Roth (Eileen) and sister Barbara (Nelson Zehr), sisters in-law; Madeline Roth, Dora Roth, Marion Roth and June Hackett. Predeceased by Elmer Roth (Esther), Alvin Roth, Michael Roth, Lizzian Roth, John Roth (Erma), Clara Roth and Ernest Roth. Nancy led a full life, devoting her time to her family, friends and the church. Her gift for caring and hospitality gave her much joy and many opportunities to enrich the lives of those around her. The funeral service will follow beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Paul Yantzi officiating, at Faith Mennonite Church, 1533 Chalmers-Forrest Road, Kingwood.
