My great-grandfather is the 3rd of twelve children born to Walter Baker WALKER (1829 OH - 1875 KS) and Pamelia Margaret TAYLOR (1833 OH - 1904 KS).

Thirteen children were born during Joseph's marriage to Effie Mae CARPENTER.

Joseph passed away in Fort Steilacoom (now Western State Hospital), Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. He was originally buried in the Patient Cemetery at Fort Steilacoom, was later disinterred, cremated, and inurned in Can #929.
