Services for Carrie Dean Stroope, 42, of Gatesville,Texas will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gatesville Funeral Home.
Ms. Stroope died Monday, Feb. 15.
She was born on Dec. 14, 1967, to Bobby and Lydia Graham Hobby in Pahokee, Fla. She worked for McLane Company as a cycle counter for the last seven years.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Stroope of Gatesville; daughter, Courtney Stroope of Cabot, Ark; two brothers, Mark Hobby of Sherwood, Ore., and Bobby Hobby Jr. of Waco; a sister, Sherri Ruble of Gatesville; her parents of Alapaha, Ga.; and a granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for her children at any Extraco Bank location.
She was a victim of domestic violence.
