Lillian R. (Roy) Kress , 87, of 16 Milton Court, Indian Orchard, a retired 32-year sales clerk at the former Mongeau Pharmacy, died Saturday in Mercy Hospital. Previously she worked at the former Alamac Knitting Mills. She was born in Springfield and lived here most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church, and a member of the parish Holy Name Society. Her husband, Alfred Kress , died in 1950. She leaves a son, Alfred Kress of Los Alamitos, Calif.; two sisters, Agnes Roy of West Springfield, and Florence Roy of Springfield; and two grandchildren. Another son, Frank H. Kress , died in 1937. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning from the Ratell Funeral Home, and in the church, with burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. There are no visiting hours, and memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Church, 1326 Worcester St., Indian Orchard, 01151.
