About 1761 Henry married Ann Wynn who was born at sea during her family imigration Philadelphia, PA. They had 14 children they named: Margaret, Daniel, Elizabeth, Mary, John, Sarah, Israel, Henry, Ann, Aholabama, Susannah, Paul, Rebecca and William Levering.
They resided at Durham Iron Works, on the Delaware River in New Jersey, until 1785, when they removed to a large farm situated in Belfast Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, where he died in August of 1810. They were buried in the family grounds upon their own premises.
JACOB LEVERING: In his will, which was admitted to the probate court in Norristown, he makes a bequest to the Gwynedd Preparatory Meeting and was buried on the grounds. He devised to "my cousin, Daniel Levering, grandson of my brother Henry Levering, my plantation of tract of land containing 100 acres, situate in Whitpain," and further, "I give my large English bible to my cousin, Henry Levering." As he called the grandson of his brother Henry, his "cousin", in this bequest, he must have referred to Henry Levering, son of his brother Daniel, as there appears no other Henry.
