Adjutant of the General Leroy Stafford Camp #3, United Confederate Veterans.

Even though William Thomas Harvey Laseter was not a Confederate Veteran, he was the son of one, William E.T. Laseter.(see Family Link below)

At the 1932 reunion of the United Confederate Veterans in Richmond, an amendment was passed that allowed the sons of veterans to join the U.C.V. as adjutants or in other capacities to help the aging veterans.

William Thomas Harvey Laster was instrumental in bringing the 1936 U.C.V. Reunion to Shreveport.
