Fairmount (CNS) - Mrs. Barbara Wolfe, 97, of Fairmount, died at midnight Friday (Oct. 21,1955) in the Vermilion Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born Sept. 19, 1858, at Bluffton, Ind., she was the daughter of Isaac and Susan Courtney. She was married to Isaac Alexander in 1878 and then to Jacob Wolfe in 1908, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Peters of Fairmount; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wolfe was a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ. The body is at the Carrington Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. DST Sunday. The Rev. Dan Mathhes of Georgetown will officiate, and burial will be in Greenview Cemetery at Fairmount. DANVILLE COMMERCIAL-NEWS, 22 Oct. 1955.
