THE COPPERHEAD'S FATAL BITE
Brenham, Texas. May 12--at 8:20 o'clock last night as the result of the bite of a copperhead snake, Thomas Lamar Roberts, aged 25 years, 5 months and 9 days, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Roberts, 5 miles east of Brenham. The remains were interred at the family burying ground at 3 PM today.
Deceased was a young man of exemplary character and his untimely death is greatly deplored by his many friends.
