Mr. Weathers was born July 25, 1921, in Simpsonville to the late Clyde L. Weathers and Emmie Woods Weathers. He worked as an Accountant with Daniel Construction Company and Thermo-Kinetics, Inc. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, where he formerly served as Deacon, Choir Leader, and teacher of the Men's Sunday School Class.
Surviving are two sons, Henry F. Weathers Jr. and his wife, Catherine, of Taylors, and Barry Weathers and his wife, Cynthia, of Fountain Inn; two daughters, Alicia Boan of Greenville and Marsha W. Poore and her husband, Steven, of Simpsonville; four sisters, Nira Griffin of Georgia, Barbara Weathers of Laurens, Sybil Godwin and Carrie Lou Stephens, both of Greenville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillside Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Eddie Howard. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in the church cemetery.
