Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde L. and Mary Emmie Woods Weathers. She was a dietician with Greenville County Schools, and a member of Hillside Baptist Church, Fountain Inn.
Surviving are two children and their spouses, Mikel A. Godwin and wife, Robbin, of Piedmont, and Vicki M. Pittman and husband, Claude Pittman, Jr., of Greer; four grandchildren, Kelley Godwin, Lyssa Parnell, Gina Pittman, and Michael Godwin; and two sisters, Carrie Lou Stephens of Greenville, and Barbara Shelton of Laurens.
Predeceased were six brothers and two sisters, JC Weathers, David Weathers, Rhett Weathers, Henry Weathers, Nell Davenport, Ansel Weathers, Harry Weathers, and Nyra Griffin.
Visitation will be from 11 to 12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, with the funeral at noon at Hillside Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
