LEWISBURG -
Arthur C. "Bud" Dauberman, 86, of 48 S. 20th St., went to be with his family and the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born June 26, 1923, in Union County and raised in Lewisburg, a son of the late Elmer and Estella (Rheppard) Dauberman. He was married on Nov. 17, 1942, to the former Edna Lose, who preceded him in death on April 18, 1990, after 48 years of marriage.
Bud was a laborer on road crews for the state Department of Transportation most of his life and also held numerous other jobs over the years.
He was a Christian.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Patricia Dauberman, of Lewisburg; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley and Marvin Black, of Lewisburg, Arlene Rice, of Lewisburg, and Olive Hixson, of Sunbury; one grandson; four stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two adopted sons, George and Robert Dauberman.
The family will provide the flowers. At Bud's request, there will be no public viewing.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Hironimous Union Cemetery, Weikert.
The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
