William H. Bennett, 42, of the Fairfax section, died at a local hospital Sunday afternoon, after a short illness and funeral services were held today at Hargreaves Chapel, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Jones.

The deceased is survived by his widow, of Fairfax; a son, T. G. Bennett, Axson; a daughter, Mrs. Braswell [Ernestine] Geiger, Millwood; five brothers, Paul and Floyd Bennett of Waycross, Harmon Bennett of Millwood, Roy Bennett of Manor, and Clyde Bennett of the United States Marine Corps, Parris Island, S.C.; also three sisters, Mrs. D. A. Morgan of Fairfax, Mrs. J. O. Morgan of Millwood, and Mrs. Macie James of Haylow.

Burial was at Hargraves Cemetery.

W. L. Hinson and Company was in charge of arrangements.
