Mrs. Josephine Murray Hargraves Bennett, 77, died last night at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was a native of Millwood and the daughter of the late James Murray and Mrs. Mary Beverly Murray.

She was a member of the Gilchrist Park United Methodist Church and had formerly been employed by Rubin Brothers Footwear.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Laveura Rosenbalm, Jacksonville, Fla., two sons, James Hargraves, Waycross and Linoleum Hargraves, Bainbridge; three sisters, Mrs. Rena Joyner, and Mrs. Hattie Hardin, both of Waycross; Mrs. Eula Leggett, Chiefland, Fla.; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Hargraves Chapel Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home is in charge.
