Funeral Held At Mount Olive For John A. Allen.

Funeral services for John A. Allen, age 59, who died at his home near Tiller's Cross Roads on January 12, were held from Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church on January 14, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Beddingfield conducting. Burial was in the nearby family cemetery with Johnson and Sanders in charge.
Surviving are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. L. H. Moncus, Lanett, Mrs. Edgar Sargent, Cusseta, and Mrs. Fred Butler, Daviston; two sons, Johnnie Allen, Camp Hill Route, and Tommie Allen, Shawmut; three sisters, Mrs. M. P. Parrish, West Point, GA - Route 6, Mrs. A. A. Barker, Abanda route, and Mrs. Tom Wood, Florida; three brothers, Ben Allen, Abanda, Ol Allen, Camp Hill, and Bill Allen, Camp Hill.
