The many friends of Mrs. Ellen Wylie were deeply grieved Friday to learn of her demise at the home of her son, Walter, in Topeka, Kans. Grandma Wylie, as she was familiarly called, had reached the age of the late nineties. She had been in her son's home for the past two years, but before that had lived in her home here.
She leaves to mourn, her son Walter, and a number of grandchildren, her two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Metier and Mrs. Seeber having passed away since she went to Kansas.
The last sad rites will be held at the M. E. church in LeRoy Sunday afternoon and her body laid to rest beside her husband in Last Chance cemetery.
