Robins Baird died Tuesday at his home near Prairie Home. He was 82 years old and had been sick for several weeks. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 3 oclock at the house and was conducted by Rev. McCracken. He leaves a wife and two children, Mrs. Frank Sheffler of Prairie Home and Robert Baird of Decatur. He was the last of nine children.

Robinson Baird was born near Bellefonte, Pa, April 11, 1819, He was married in 1850 and moved to this state in 1853. He was a member of the West Okaw Presbyterian church at Prairie Home. He died April 23, 1901, aged 82 years and 12 days.
