Survivors include his wife, Marva; two sons, Michael P. and Benjamin L. Jr.; two daughters, Suzie Liljestrand and Jennifer Alexander; three step daughters, Connie Schroeder, Susan Schwarz and Paula Gillman; a brother, John; five grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.
