T.B. Bartlett Dies After Long Illness.
Thomas B. Bartlett, who had been a patient at a nursing home in Udall since May 18, died at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday.
He came to this city from Topeka in 1935. Prior to moving here, he worked as a shoe cobbler.
When he first moved here, Mr. Bartlett resided with a brother, Samuel T. Bartlett, 626 North C street, until his death. Since that time he lived in an apartment at 423 1/2 South Summit street.
He suffered a stroke several weeks ago and was in Mercy hospital for treatment, prior to going to the nursing home in Udall.
Surviving relatives include two nephews, Herbert B. Bartlett, 1127 South F street, and F.J. Bartlett, 1221 South Third street, and one niece, Mrs. Verona Thompson of Los Angeles.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the Grant-Elder Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Riverview cemetery. The Grant-Elder Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral Services Held For Thomas Bartlett
Funeral services for Thomas B. Bartlett, who died Tuesday, were held Friday morning at the Grant-Elder Funeral Home.
Rev. Herbert T. Beatty officiated. Mrs. Beatty was soloist and Mrs. J. Kelsey Day was organist.
Casket bearers included Kennth Koenke, O.G. McLain, Fred Hughett, F.J. Bartlett, H.R. Bartlett and H.D. Bartlett of Newkirk.
Burial was in Riverview cemetery.
