On the same stone with A.Lincoln 1861-1940
Lola Caster:
Lola Montez Fornsworth, daughter, of Jacob and Mary Farnsworth, was born near Exline, at what was then known a New Hope, Ia., June 9, 1865, where she grow to womanhood and was married to A.L.Caster Aug. 22, 1885, and to this union 14 children were born, three Earl, Pearl and Mrs. O.H. Johnson, having preceded the mother in death.
The living children are Mrs. George Rennie of Sterling, Colo., D.H.Caster, Mrs. John McClurg and Mrs. Tom Steele, of Exline, Iowa; Mrs. W.C.Dotson and Mrs. E.D.Worley of Centerville, Eldo Caster of Kellogg, IA., Mrs. Frederick Trout and Mrs. F.D. Glick at Abingdon, ILL., and Chester Caster of Grinnell, and Mary Caster at home.
Mrs. Caster united with the Christian church when young in years and until the time of her death lived a devoted Christian life.
The Caster family lived in the Exline vicinity until a few years ago where they reared their family and formed a large acquaintance and a strong tie of friendship and since coming to Cincinnati have also woven their lives into the community where they have a large group of friends.
Besides the immediate family Mrs. Caster leaves two brothers, M.F.Farnsworth of Coatsville, MO., A.L. Farnsworth of Exline and one sister, Mrs. Columbus Cox of Carnie, Okla., and 19 grandchildren. She has been a patient sufferer for several years and departed this life at her home in Cincinnati Aug. 3, 1932, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 26 days.
In departing the husband loses a devoted companion, the children a loving mother and councilor, and the community and other relatives a true friend.
Funeral services were held from the Christian church in Cincinnati Aug. 6 conducted by Elder E.E.Withrow. Burial in the family lot in the Exline Cemetery.
