Miss Vernie B. Rumbaugh of the Ada Nursing Home, formerly residing with Miss Grace Dempster of 507 W. Kibby, died 4:30 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hardin County, she was the daughter of Thomas H. and Elizabeth McClure Rumbaugh.
A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of South Side Church of Christ, Daughters of Veterans and the W.R.C.
Several nieces survive.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Son-Laman Funeral Home, Rev. E. J. Penhorwood officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
