I have found through research that other names for Hope cem. is Mercer cem. and Mount Hope cem.

Jacob Christy
Jacob Christy was born in Indiana, December 1, 1852, and passed away February 13, 1926. He was united in marriage to Miss Elvira Ann Feagins at Bloomfield, Iowa, February 12, 1874. To this union ten children were born. His wife and one child having preceded him in death.
He came to Kansas in 1878 and made his home in and around Arkansas City the remainder of his life. He was converted in early manhood and was a member of the Christian church at Bloomfield, Iowa, at the time of his death.
He was a loving father and kind friend. There are left to mourn his departure nine children: Harve Christy, Ponce City; Mrs. A.C. Jordan, Arkansas City; Mrs Bert Cain, Arkansas City; Ollie Christy, Arkansas City; Harley Christy, Arkansas City; Mrs. Ad Anstein, Geuda Springs; Vern Christy, Arkansas City; Elmer Christy, Wichita; and grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral serveces were held Monday morning, February 15, at the Oldroyd chapel with Dr. W.M. Gardner officiating. Burial was in Mercer cemetery in West Bolton.
