1895: 11 Apr: Betsy Rackley is expected to die. At her bedside are all of her children, among them Mrs. J S Barker of Calhoun, SC. Mrs Elizabeth Rackley died at her home near Nine Forks Church Dacusville Township on last Saturday the 6 of April at the age of 78 years. She was buried beside her husband at the family burying ground. Mrs .Rackley was a sister of Joseph Looper, Rev Thomas Looper and Jerre Looper junior who reside two miles west of Pickens,SC.
