(special thanks to Fran Bundy for the following info) His wife was Maude Dykes and they had at least one child, Willard Bolen. It may be that Maude remarried after he died because she was a good bit younger than he.

(obit by Anna) CLARENCE BOLEN DIES IN CALVARY SECTION

Williston, Jan 10 - After a prolonged illness and great suffering caused by gunshot wounds received last February, Clarence Bolen died at his home in the Calvary section Saturday afternoon about 5:30, having gradually grown weaker for the past few weeks.

His death did not come as a surprise but created a deep pall of sorrow among his many friends and relatives.

The funeral services were held from Calvary Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 4:30 and the interment followed at the Calvary cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, who before her marriage was miss Maud Dykes of Blackville, and several small children, three sisters, Mrs W M Pender and Mrs W W Bolen of Savannah, and Mrs Walter Givens of Williston; five brothers, H A Bolen, Seary Bolen, J H Bolen, Matthew Bolen and W Bolen, all of Elko.
