WHITLOCK, MARGARET A., 87, passed away Sunday March 1, 2009 at home with her family at her side. She retired from Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, where she was the supervisor of Admitting. She is a member of the Women's Club and the Simon Sociable Senior Club at SS Simon & Jude Catholic Church and the Red Hatters. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Whitlock. She is survived by her daughters, Toni Armistead (Dave), Liz Smith (Dave), Peg Wethington, Sandy Miller (Roy), Lynn Triplett, and Melanie Ramsey; sons, Larry Whitlock (Sandy) and Bill Whitlock (Linda); sisters Ann Scott and Jerry Bickel (Art); 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS Simon & Jude, 4335 Hazelwood Ave., with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive. Memorials may be directed to Hosparus or the Mass of the Air.
