JOHN A. "TONY" MUDD, SR., 3518 Taylor Boulevard, an electrician retired three years, was found dead at his home about noon Wednesday by a son, James Mudd. He was 68. Deputy Coroner James J. Barber said results of an autopsy should be available in about two weeks. Mudd had been dead several days, he said. An electrician 40 years, he was a member of Local 369 of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus and was a member of Blessed Mother Council, K. of C. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a World War I Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Alvey; two other sons, John ?A. Mudd, Jr., and William A. Mudd; five daughters, Mrs. Melvin Whitlock, Mrs. Lindsey P. Scott, Mrs. George A. Bickel, Mrs. O. N. Brown, and Mrs. Irvin Klein; three brothers, Edward L., Richard F., and James R. Mudd; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Skaggs, Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. William F. Pfeiffer, and 22 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Ratterman's, 2815 S. Fourth, and at 10 a.m. in SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Mudd is at Rattermans, 2815 S. 4th St. Funeral Friday mornbing at 10:00 o'clock from Sts. Simon and Jude Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary service will be held Thursday evening at 7:30, and by the Knights of Columbus Blessed Mother Council at 8:00 o'clock.
