Mrs. Effie Morrison, 42, died 15 miles east of Stamford at her home. Graveside services were officiated by Dwain Jones, preacher of the Anson Church of Christ.
Mrs. Morrison was a daughter of Dave Decker and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Miss Effie Mae Decker married T.C. Coker in 1907 and seven children were born to this union including: Velma Coker, Audie Coker, Julia Coker, Eulalia Coker, Morgan Coker and Tom Coker.
Mrs. Effie Mae Coker married J.M. Morrison in 1922. To this union, one child was born, Mary Alice Morrison. The couple divorced by 1929.
