A graveside service for Grover L. Morris, 77, of Grottoes will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg. The Rev. Melvin H. Ritchie will conduct the service. Mr. Morris was found dead Jan. 22, 1991, at his home. He was born April 13, 1913, in Augusta County and was a son of the late Mathias and Effie Huffman Morris. Mr. Morris was a member of the Elm Street Community Christian Church in Grottoes. He was a retired sheet metal worker and was employed by DuPont Co. in Waynesboro for 17 years. On Aug. 26, 1930, he married the former Delia Dutan, who died Nov. 26, 1984. Surviving are one daughter, one brother, one sister, 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
