Little Webster Lamb was the son of Mikel and Mary Stephens Lamb. When Little Webster Lamb was born on February 5, 1892, in Wilcox, Georgia, his father, Mikel, was 44 and his mother, Mary, was 33. He had seven siblings: Young Lester Lamb 1882–1974, Litha Estelle Lamb (Stubbs) 1886–1957, Cynthia Missouri Lamb (Ferguson) 1889–1967, Annie "Minnie" Pearl Lamb (Calhoun) 1894–1911, Marcus Adel Lamb (Fortson) 1895–1974, Margaret "Maggie" Lee Lamb (Stubbs) 1897–1921, and Charley Gress Lamb 1900–1920.

Mr. Lamb married Ida Florence Ambrose (Lamb) in 1908 when he was sixteen years old. They had four children in 12 years: Harvey Lenton "Leonard" Lamb 1909–1988, Clinton Felder Lamb 1913–1982, Esther Mae Lamb (Gilbert)(Law)(Gentry)(Jones)(Gilbert) 1918–2006, and Linnie Lorene Lamb (Brown) 1922–2012.

He died on June 2, 1939, in Turner County, Georgia from a lightening strike, at the age of 38, and hewas buried in Turner, Georgia at the Rainey Cemetery.
