Frederick Post September 19, 1933
Andrew Haines died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vivalis Derr, 202 Dill avenue, Sunday night at 11 o'clock of complications. he was aged 79 years and 16 days. Mr. Haines leaves the following children:  Mrs. Otis Anderson, Frederick; Eldridge, Haines, Walkersville; Mrs. Everett Green, Lewistown; Millard Haines, Frederick; Mrs. Vivalis Derr, Frederick; D. Atlee Haines, near Frederick; Berkely H. Haines, Baltimore; Mrs. Milton Crum, Frederick; Day M. Haines, at home; also 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren adn one brother, Samuel Haines, of Westminster. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Episcopal church, South, this city.
Funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon, leaving the home of Mrs. Derr at 1:15 o'clcock. The funeral cortege will proceed to Zion Reformed church at Charlesville, where full services will be held. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. C.E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.

The funeral of Andrew Haines took place Wednesday afternoon. A short service was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vivalis Derr, 202 West Fourth street, at 1:15 o'clock. The funeral party proceeded to Zion Reformed church at Charlesville, where final serves were held, conducted by Rev. Nat. G. Barnhart, pastor of Trinity Methodist Episcopal church, South, Frederick. The choir from Trinity church furnished the music. The services were largely attended and many beautiful floral designs were sent by friends. Pallbearers were Dorsey Culler, Roy H. Ramsburg, Albert Dorsey, Jesse Haines, James Trump and George Perry. Burial followed in cemetery adjoining the church.  C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
