Caylor, residence given as Patch Grove, Birthplace not given, late a private in Company I of the 20th Regiment of Wisconsin Infantry Volunteers was enlisted on the 13th day of August 1862 by Thomas Bintliff at Mt. Hope Wis. for the term of 3 years was mustered into military service of the United States on the 23rd day of August 1862 at Madison Wisconsin. Rolls quoted for name and etc... 10/62 sick at Springfield Missouri. Died October 28, 1862 at Springfield, Missouri in Consolidate Hospital of Typhoid Fever. Buried in Cemetery at Springfield, Missouri - Section 15 Grave 44. Records also show that said soldier when enlisted was 27 years of age Married had Hazel eyes dark hair dark complexion and by occupation a farmer.
