She was born January 18, 1926 in Bergton, and was a daughter of the late Allen and Martha Ada Tusing Fitzwater.
She worked at National Fruit before retiring. She was a member of Crab Run Church of the Brethren, and attended Bergton Gospel Center.
On June 21, 1946, she married Wilson Woodrow "Shorty" Mongold, who preceded her in death May 25, 1988.
Surviving are four daughters, four sons, two sisters, a brother, 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 step granddaughters.
A sister, Elta Corway preceded her in death.
Pastor's Franklin Tusing and Robert Curns will conduct a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Friday at Crab Run Church of the Brethren in Mathias, WV.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
The body was cremated.
