David Lincoln Headlee, 93, of 633 Warrington Avenue, Pittsburgh, formerly of Perry Township, Greene County, died at the home of his son, Rev. Harry J. Headlee, Sunday, Jan. 3, 1954, at 12:15 p.m. after an illness of the past five months.
A retired farmer, he was born Sept. 28, 1860, in Perry Twp., a son of Phineas and Nancy Keener Headlee and lived most of his life in Perry Twp. His wife, the former Sara Headley Headlee, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three children, Rev. Harry J. Headlee and L. Floyd Headlee, both of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Eva H. John, of Waynesburg. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. He was the last of his family.
Mr. Headlee was a lifelong Methodist and was a member of the Waynesburg Methodist Church where he served as a member of the official board. He was well known as a Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendant.

Samuel E. Brown. Burial in Oakmont Cemetery. Friends received at the Garrison Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today (Monday).
