The Daily Chronicle, Hoopeston, Illinois May 17, 1917:
The body of Myrtle, wife of Lewis Pope, was brought from Papineau to this city on the noon train yesterday and buried in Floral Hill cemetery. Mrs. Pope died of pulmonary congestion. The family formerly lived in this vicinity twenty years ago, and a little daughter is also buried in Floral Hill.
