"OBITUARY"


WEINER, Ark. - Joe Allen Crume, 49 of Weiner, formerly of Elkhart, died on Monday (Jan. 12, 1998) in his home after suffering a heart attack. He was born on Nov. 4, 1948, in Kabool, Mo. His wife, Rose (Prather) Crume, died in 1997. He is survived by mother Blanche Crume of Elkhart; a son Jeremy of Bemidji, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Beth Campbell of Texas; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Francis Miller of Weiner, Maryan Rawls of Fernandina, Fla., and Margaret Bramel of Elkhart; and five brothers, Gene and David Crossland, both of Springfield, Mo., Floyd Crossland of San Antonio, James Crume of South Bend and Billie Crume of Elkhart. Visitation was held on Jan. 14, at Framers union Funeral Home in Jonesboro. There was no funeral service. The body has been cremated. Mr. Crume was and Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
