Earl E. Crossland, 76, of Bremen, passed away at 9:45 am, Monday, January 2, 2017 in Memorial Hospital. Earl was born on March 28, 1940, the son of Floyd Crossland and Blanch (Kile) Crume.

He is survived by three children; Dawn (Dave) Carpenter of Bremen, Lisa (Adam) Parker of Granger, and Dina (Roger) Callahan of Dowagiac, MI; nine grandchildren; Ashley (Gilbert) Soliz, Ryan (Andrea) Carpenter, Nicole (Tom) Sult, Amanda (Jake) McCord, Jacob Parker, Hannah Parker, Rebeccah Jones, Caleb (Katie) Jones and Rachel Callahan; and five great grandchildren; Blakeleigh, Cohen, Willow, Wyatt, and Paisley. He is also survived by four siblings; Marie Bramel, Fran Miller, James Crume, and Maryann Rawls. Earl is preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Austin (Destinee) Jones and siblings, Floyd Crossland, David Crossland, Joe Crume and Billy Crume.

Earl proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before his honorable discharge in 1960. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved to talk. He was a generous man with a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.

A private family burial will take place in Osceola Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
