MORNING SUN, Iowa – Ola Marie Cornic, 68, Morning Sun, Iowa, died Monday at Henry County Memorial Hospital in Mount Pleasant.

Born April 7, 1912 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Tilden and Dottie Margaret (Baxter) Stevens.

Survivors include one daughter, Eupha Mae Schmidt of Burlington, Iowa; one son, Charles Edward Harned of Campbell Hill, Ill.; four sisters, Alice Butcher, Pearl Robertson, Maude Prince and Ruby Stevens, all of Bloomington; two brothers, Richard Stevens of Bloomington and Samuel Stevens of Hillsboro, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Harned in 1959, and by her second husband, Walter Cornic in 1978.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Pearson Funeral Home in Morning Sun, Iowa. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
