Obituary:
Seward, April 21. - The funeral services of the late Johnstown Lawson, aged 78 years, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alice Kane, of this place, of a complication of diseases due to old age, will be held at the Kane residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with burial, in the Armagh Cemetery. Mr. Lawson was a Civil War veteran, having enlisted in Company B., Fifty-sixth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was born in Indiana County on May 4, 1845. The deceased is survived by one brother, Jacob Lawson, a retired railroad engineer, and the following children: Robert, of Indiana; Norman, of Homestead; Mrs. Alice Kane, of this place; and Raymond, of North Side, Pittsburg.
