Fred Nault, who keeps a tent restaurant on West Genesee street, was fined $5 and costs by Judge Curley on Wednesday for dumping garbage in the manhole of the sewer at Fourth and Genesee streets. Night Watchman Sensiba saw Nault throw the swill into the sewer early one morning a couple of weeks ago and reported the matter to Dr. W.S. Stevens, health officer. Dr. Stevens filed a complaint against Nault, charging him with violating the garbage ordinance. Nault said he would appeal the case to circuit court.
