George Nault, aged 46, pioneer resident of this city, committed suicide Monday by hanging himself to the head frame of his bed. He died in the same house in which a brother committed suicide several years ago. He was despondent, owing to ill health with which he had been ailing for several years. For years he was employed as a delivery man and meat cutter, and for a long time worked for the late John Every.
Mr. Nault is survived by a widow and two children. He has been a resident of Iron River for many years and is widely known throughout the county. Funeral arrangements are still uncertain.
