Rosary will be recited at 8pm today for Lawrence A. Lawson, 54, of 1600 El Rito Ave., Glendale, in the Chapel of Sacred Memories, L.G. Scovern & Son Mortuary, Glendale. He was a member of a pioneer Glendale family and brother-in-law of Yankee Manager Casey Stengel. A brother is Glendale City Councilman John M. Lawson. Mr. Lawson died Sunday at his home. He was a retired Army brigadier general who served in both World Wars. He leaves his widow Helen; two daughters, Lynn, 17, and Mrs. Nancy Hill, Beverly Hills; his brother and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Stengel and Mrs. Mae Hunter, both of Glendale. Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9am in the Holy Family Church, Glendale.
