ALICE JOANN DODD was born November 20, 1946 and departed this life February 23, 2004 reaching the age of 57. She was the daughter of James Melvin Anderson and Martha Boggs Anderson.
She was united in marriage to John Dodd, Sr. and to this union 3 children were born.
She is survived by her husband, John Dodd, Sr.; two sons, Mike (Terina) Dodd and Jamie (Kendra) Dodd both of Monticello, KY; and her mother, Martha Anderson.
She is also survived by four brothers, John Anderson of Richmond, KY, James Anderson, Jr. of Southbend, IN, Joseph Anderson of Lexington, KY, Mark Anderson of Columbus, IN; four sisters, Carolyn Bellows and Maeve Bennett of Columbus, IN, Joyce Collins of Martinsville, IN, Charlotte Nance of Pt. Charlotte, FL; eight grandchildren, Sierra Dodd, John T. Dodd, III, Michael S. Dodd, II, Taylor Gehring, Andrew James Dodd, Victoria Dodd, Lauren Dodd and Leslie Dodd; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by one son, John T. Dodd, Jr. and her father, Melvin Anderson.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
