Iva "Davis" Jones passed away Monday, October 26, 1998 in her home with family around her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 1998, at Church of the Resurrection, Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Reverend Michael J. Knipe Pastor. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery following services under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Chapel-www.moorefuneral.com.
Iva Ann "Davis" Jones was of Catholic faith, loved her family and friends, was an avoid gardner and loved making quilts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Joseph Jones of the home whom she married July 16, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. One daughter, Katherine Coleman and her husband John of Denton, Texas, two sons Jack Jones and wife Nora of Calvary, Canada and Rick Jones and wife Cynthia, of Tulsa,Oklahoma. Six Grandsons, Joseph and wife Tina of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Raymond and wife Kerri of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, John Lloyd Jones, Jason Jones, Jeffery Wayne Jones, James Michael Jones and one granddaughter Jessica Marie Jones all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. And 6 great grandchildren. Lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Washington Davis in 1926 and Roxie Ann "Newberry" Davis in 1966, two sisters, Elise Gatlin in 1987, Alice Marie Davis in 1966, and two brothers Art Davis in 1994 and Ernest Davis in 1997.
Memorial contributions my be made to the Church of the Resurrection, of Tulsa, Oklahoma in lieu of flowers.
