She was born June 11, 1928, in Adams County, a daughter of the late Oliver Milton and Gertrude Kressler.
Joyce was a Gold Star Mother, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 799, life member of the York Archers, and a member of Hayshire United Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Beverly J. Kelley of Dover; a son, Timothy C. and his wife, Jo Marie Bliss of York; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jeanne Stefanowicz of York. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Bliss, who died in Vietnam in 1969.t the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
