Tulia, Nov. 19-Funeral arrangements for T. I. (Tom) Bonds, longtime area resident and former Swisher County commissioner, will be announced Thursday afternoon by Wallace Funeral Home in Tulia.
Mr. Bonds, about 85, died at 2 a.m. today in a Houston clinic which he had entered last week.
Mr. Bonds, a farmer, was a partner in the B. F. & W. Cotton and Grain Co.

HAPPY, Nov. 20 - Funeral services for T. I. Bonds, former Swisher County commissioner, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church at Happy. The Rev. Bill ?, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery, with arrangements by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia.
Mr. Bonds, 67, died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in Anderson Memorial Hospital in Houston. He had been ill for about six weeks.
He was born Sept. 9, 1891, in Clinton, S. C. and was a longtime resident of Happy. He had served four terms as commissioner of Swisher County Precinct 1 and was president of B. S. & W. Gin Co.
He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Happy and was a member of the Masonic lodge here.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Louie of Happy; six brothers, H. P. and F. J. Bonds, both of Happy, N. E. Bonds of Bovina, R. H. Bonds of Valley Mills, G. J. Bonds of Bentonville, Ark., and W. F. Bonds of Canyon; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Elrod of Wildorado and Mrs. C. E. Ponder, San Gabriel, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
