Graveside services for Angela Alaniz Arjona, 86, will be ar 3 p.m. Thursday, December 14, in Plainview Cemetery with the Reverend Ben Kasteel, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, officiating; Burial arrangeinents are by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arjona died at 10:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 1995, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
She was born Oct. 3, 1909 in LaGrulla. She grew up in Mission where she attended school. She moved to Lubbock in 1945, to Lockney in 1946 and to Plainview in 1985. She worked in agriculture all her life. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church in Lockney.
Survivors include two daughters, Tanis Hernandez of Plainview and Margie Diaz of Dallas; two sons, Victor Rodriguez of Plainview and Jesse Arjona of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Sipriana Sepulveda of Lockney; 32 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
