OBIT - Isaac Cunningham Van Meter
Isaac VanMeter, A Well Known Fayette County Farmer Dies Last Night. Mr. Isaac C. VanMeter, a prominent Fayette County farmer, died at his home on the Redd turnpike road Thursday night at 9 o'clock. On Wednesday he had a paralytic stroke and grew rapidly worse until death came. He leaves a wife and several children. The funeral will take place at the First Presbyterian Church Saturday morning at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Bartlett. The burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
